How it works

Final score = correct answers × marks per correct answer − incorrect answers × penalty. Accuracy uses attempted questions; attempt, correct and wrong rates use the total questions. Negative scores are retained.

Practice results are estimates based on your inputs. Check the rules and calculation convention in your own exam notification.

A few useful answers

What if I leave unattempted blank?

The calculator automatically subtracts correct and incorrect answers from the total. If you enter it manually, any remaining questions are reported as unclassified.

Is there one marking scheme for all exams?

No. Use the marks and penalty specified in your own paper. Included schemes are custom examples, not official exam rules.
